Some Santa magic happened the other night, when Santa and I went to go see RED ONE, all kitted out.
Before the start of the film, I gave a young boy seated several rows behind us a “Nice List” Mrs Santa coin.
It’s what I do sometimes.
At some point during the film, he dropped it.
Somehow, on its way down the slanted theater floor, the coin stopped right at my feet, and I found it once the lights came up.
I saw the Mom and the boy looking around wildly. The boy was *very* upset that he had lost the coin.
“Did you lose something?” I asked as I handed the coin back to the boy.
Imagine his and his Mom’s surprise.
What are the odds that that coin would have come back to me as it did? Wildly unlikely in a large and crowded theater auditorium.
Yes, sometimes magic happens, even these days.
